About Dennery
Dennery is district and a town on the eastern coast of the island of St Lucia. The main economic activities in Dennery is fishing and farming ie bananas and tropical fruit such as oranges, mangoes, citrus etc. Politically Dennery is zoned as Dennery North and Dennery south with two seperate district representatives.
However,much of Dennery is in Dennery North and is made up of Mabouya Valley, Derniere Riviere, Au Leon, Despinoze, Gadette, Grand Riviere, GrandRavine, La Ressource, Richfond and other surrounding areas; and Frigate IslandNature Reserve is offshore a few minuites drive to the south of Dennery South.
Things to do in Dennery:
Sault Falls (alsoknown as Errard Falls as well as Dennery Falls) is perhaps St Lucia's most scenic waterfall falling some 15-20m over a rounded cliff. It's one of the few accessible waterfalls on the eastern side of the Saint Lucia.

Dennery Sea FoodFiesta
A weekly seafood fiesta held on the Dennery Waterfront. Dennery comes alive every Saturday as Saint Lucian delicacies (like fire roasted fish eggs with garlic) and a diverse offering of seafoods are served up, prepared by the wife's of the fishermen. Local music such as soca and zouk compliment the rural setting...odd but harmless characters included. The event is hosted by the Dennery Seafood Vendors Association, mostly women, who prepare creole dishes using methods passed down through a lineage of fisher folk but with modern edge and ingenuity.SAMPLE THE SEA.
